Having recently watched the movie WALL-E I noticed that every time his battery is charged or he turns on you hear the Mac startup chime.
I thought it was quite nice. Am I right in thinking that Pixar uses Apple products for their animation rendering?

One place that has Apple infused quite heavily is inside Metal Gear Solid 4.
Otacon has several Mac Pros and there are probably a dozen or so Apple Cinema Displays.
Snake carries a white 5th Gen iPod Video that you can listen to and navigate through like a real iPod.
There are music tracks you can pick up while out scavenging for supplies, it even has podcasts.

Also in almost any TV show or movie I have seen that has a Laptop in the shot you can see a Mac Book Pro.

Anyone else notice more Macs out there?

Mac's in loads of films and TV, programs.

School of Rock, is just one film that screams out now (watched it the other night)

Hehe man, Steve Jobs (CEO of Apple) was the founder and CEO of Pixar until Disney bought it in 2006. So yes, I'm guessing Steve still sends them a nice supply of Apple goodness tongue.gif

Yeah pretty much every time you see a laptop on TV it's going to be a Mac. Don't ask me how I know this, but in the movie "Nim's Island" there are like 20 Macbooks in there too. (Stupid plane trip....)

Dr. Who used both types of new Alu keyboards in the latest series! I think there has been a thread about them!?

 Levkovski - Think Unique
There were millions of Apple References in Wall-E... and Eve was actually designed by Jonathon Ive (The man behind the aesthetics of the iPod, iMac etc)...

If someone only knew culture from TV, Movies and Ads they would think everybody owned multiple Macs. I think it may be because the people associated with TV and Movie production work with Macs and are fond of them.

I'd like to see some more Hack's in the wild =D

Steve Jobs was defanently not the founder. Lucasfilms were the founders Jobs just brought it in the 80's changing a company name doesn't mean you founded it
