i installed wc3 roc and tft and then i patched manually to actually 1.22a. when i start roc i can play normal, but i cant start tft. he loads a few seconds and then a message comes: Sorry, Warcraft 3 could not opened.
some1 knows a fix?

Did you patch straight to 1.22a or did u use a full patch (1.21 I think was the last full patch) and then patch to 1.22a? I first got the full patch and then got the 1.22a patch off b.net but then again I don't have TFT right now sadly (lost my cd-key txt file )

i loaded from the ftp from blizzard the War3TFT_121a_English.bin. what must do with it?
chmod +x and ./War3TFT_121a_English.bin didnt make anything.
from the size the 1.22 should be a full update too

I just installed warcraft 3 TFT and it closes out on me instantly also I didnt try patching it or anything yet so I guess i;l try that

Ok here is the fix:

Mount the RoC and FT Disc images
Run the FT installer
Insert all infomation and install to default folder
Close installer once its installed
OR
Insert RoC Disc
run the installer and insert all information and install to defaiult folder
close installer
repeat with FT Disc

Download and run the Warcraft III FT 1.21b patch
Run FT and connect to bnet and download the latest patch
Enjoy life

Why would you want 1.21b? The current ver. is 1.22.

I need 1.21b to do upgrade (not full), because when i'm doing full upgrade i can't run TFT.

Should not upgrade a full patch version, you will face the same problem after. My solution, after install both CD, keep it mount and open battle.net for auto update (can use MAC+M to exit full screen), wait till it restart, you will get 1.22a. Battle.net again you will get the newest version.
