Hi,
I recently bought an Imac and I used bootcamp to install windows xp pro. Everything went well and I used the dvd's included with the imac to install bootcamp and drivers in windows xp pro. But now when I am working with windows, I am getting the message "USB device can not be recognized" every 3 secs. Altough no usb devices are connected with the pc besides the apple keyboard. Anybody knows a solution for this problem? Is this a driver issue? I also installed the bootcamp 2,1 version using the apple software update. But this didn't resolve the problem. What can I do?
Kind Regards,
Hans

HI,
I cant solve your problem but your not alone. I have a similar problem. My computer beep at me like something has been added but never completes the process. Occasionally it says unable to set up USB hub device. but I have nothing is attached to the computer. It really irks me while I'm trying to play a game because I hear it beep in the background and it locks up he trackpad and doesn't recover to well afterwards.
I have a question for you HVH, does your computer list your internal dvd as an external connected device? Mine dose and I don't know if it did before? I have had boot camp and WINXP Pro for all most a year, mainly to play games, it has been fine up till recently. I have put both lastest Boot camp and Win SP3 but niether has helped with the problem.
