I was successful with fitting in my mATX board into the original holders and i managed to fit every part into my case as well. Now I'm trying to figure out how to make my dvd Drive working with the original front panel. i want to keep the sliding door since that one is awesome cool and a reason why the g5 case looks that nice.. does anybody have an idea how to manage that? so that i also can press a small button from outside that i can install my OS later too ?

with the mac pro/G5 cases you need to remove the front bezel of the dvd drive and mount it in the slots. when the drive ejects it pushes the mac tray open.

to get a button to eject your drive is pretty much useless in osx cause osx just disables that button.
(you would have to solder in a new button and re-reroute it)

press and hold F12 to eject it or drag the disk to the trash to eject, easiest way to do it.

my mac's keyboard eject key works with my optical drive. it then pushes the drive door open on my G5 case perfectly.

guess you cant read, its the button on the dvd drive itself I was talking about re-routing.
