ok bare with me as im a noob when it comes to macs
im an i.t tech in a school and the other day there was a powercut to the school and the mac server got cut off, now after a while it starts to beep repetitiously , then when trying to start up it produced the folder with the "?" mark blinking in the middle- i then decided to put the leopard disk in the drive and boot from that to run the disk utilites to try and fix any issues, but when it trys to load that the little mac logo in the middle of the display dissapears and is replaced with a stop sign... im a lil lost as to what my next move is - the server has only recently been installed and the drives are set up with raid

ok on further development i found out how to reset the NVRAM once i did this i was then able to get into the leopard dvd to access the disk utility to run a repair permitions on the volume and then repair the disk, after both were done i choose from the finder menu disk loader or something similarly named and i was able to choose the volume to load on a restart- i choose the harddrive with the leopard installed and rebooted - this then started up as the machine should and i was able to login etc- although the alarm beep was still going!? i then decided to do a reboot which loaded leopard back up again with the beep still going again, i then choose to do a full shut down and then manually turned the server on- now its back to square one- it dosnt appear to see the hardrives when loading as the status lights dont light up and then again the only way to get into the disk manager to choose the drive is to reset the NVRAM again.

im lost what to do still
