Happy 4th of July? No. We have nothing to celebrate. Our countries leadership is almost an exact model of Nazi Germany. We are carrying out the final solution for the people of Afghanistan,Iraq and next Iran and although we still feign friendship with Saudi Arabia as soon as we are firmly settled in the area they will also feel the sting of the greed and betrayal the same way the American Indians did during the invasion of their country. So far our occupation in Iraq under the guise of freeing them from dictatorship has resulted in the deaths and injuries of an estimated 1 million of their civilians and the total collapse of their infrastructure and annihilation of their cultural history. Yet the reasons given for the invasions have proven to be ALL lies and even some of the braver truly patriotic US army generals are stepping forward requesting that those responsible for the atrocities ALL be brought to justice.

To Sabr I say in most topics I would strongly agree with you but in this case people need to hear both sides of the story because the US news media is not covering the truth because they are owned by the same people making huge profits from it.We need to speak out whenever we can. The internet is the only place where people can learn about what's really happening in the world and counter the kind of message heard from people like blkhockeypro19 who would have us just STFU. By the way, I am a US citizen and consider myself a true patriot. To those of you from other countries please remember that although those in power would have you believe that we in the US are a free nation I can assure you if that was ever true in history it is not the reality of today. There is a continued effort by those in power to increase the so called security which is nothing more than an escalation of the police state that already exists. If you think I'm exaggerating consider our senate is currently debating the FISA bill which allows for our own government to spy on its citizens. Giving them the right to read your emails, listen to your phone conversations to list a few. All without having to justify the spying or obtaining a court order for such activities. All a blatant disregard for our own constitution. George Orwell's future is here NOW. WAKE UP!! All part of the New World Order. WTO, World Bank etc. Do you really want people like we currently have ruling the World?

Whoever pastes a huge USA-Flag and July 4th jubilations on their post should not be surprised when political comments are provoked. Make sure you are moral and ethical in your dealings with your fellow human beings. Think before you act. Your words and actions cannot be retrieved once they have been set loose. Don't make rash judgements based on emotions. Experience is a great teacher if you learn from its lessons. History repeats itself, so read and learn. Just don't make the mistake of reading only the victors books. If enough time has passed the conquered have written their own story. Last but not least, time is fleeting, carpe diem. No one gets out alive.
