I have D-LINK DWA-547 which uses atheros AR5008 chipset working ok in leopard 10.5.3...and it's recognized as airport extreme card 802.11a/b/g/n...but i cant get it working in N mode...the connection speed is always at 130Mbps...never higher...has anyone using similar card connected with the router at N speed? my router is apple gigabyte airport base station working in N mode only(2.4Ghz)...

I just bought dwa-547. Previously i use tp-link 651g recognised as airport. I switch to dwa-547 and now it doesn't recognised anymore, it said airport not installed. I wonder if mac still remember previous config, how do i erase previous config? And hopefully it will recognised new airport in dwa-547

ok, problem solved, using IO80211family.kext from kalyway 10.5.1 dvd works. recognised as native airport.

now the problem is, streaming to appletv still doesn't work well, no delay but still would like to see better transfer rate. transfer rate only 700-800Kb/s. both streaming and sync gives the same rate.

i use airport express 802.11n and surprise no 802.11n transfer rate ?

transfer rate is the same with tp-link 651g @ 10.5.3 can achieve 800KB/s-1.2MB/s, but after 10.5.4 upgrade, performance really drop to 100-200KB/s.
