As some of you are already aware, InsanelyMac has been undergoing a makeover for quite some time. As we get closer to the re-launch of InsanelyMac, we'd like to open up the design of the new InsanelyMac logo to the community.

All you budding designers out there, please post your logo design(s) in a comment/reply to this post. The winner will be credited on every page of the new InsanelyMac website when it launches in July.

not really, as a logo can always be re-sized - ideally it any logo should always be done in vector format or hi-res bitmap!

ok this is not the final logo. its just the basic idea which contains

- the 86 of the term OSX86 (I wanna get the 'X' in there too)
- the shape of the original apple logo (well a bit abstracted)

so here is the basic idea if the team likes this idea I will go on working on this

Here is my logo i have made. The file i have uploaded is a compressed jpg at 5100 x 3000 but I also have an uncompressed .pspimage version of it and can provide various other compressed and uncompressed formats e.g .eps, .psd, .tiff, .raw, .bmp, .gif ect. Hope you like it if anyone had improvements please can you give me a message or reply and il try to put them in.

True right at the moment Sabrs is one of the most interesting but it doesn't go with the new theme IMO.

I'd vote for Sabr's if the submissions ended now. By the way to everyone designing a logo, the theme is not the same blue that we are all accustomed too. It's going to be black or white depending on what the individual user chooses. That should help someone.

I grabbed some parts of a wallpaper I was working on

well here it is! theres just so much stuff we could do by messing around in photoshop its insane! :S

Just a quick idea... it's all vector so any part of it can be changed and done at any size.
