Ummm my DVD that I'm using to burn has only 4.7 gb available. Is there a way to divide the .cdr file into two separate files so I can burn it onto 2 separate discs?

Use a double layer DVD-R.

Or do a retail-disc-image method of installing, which of course requires a secondary Leopard install. This might work. Probably best just to burn a double-layer. I think best buy has them in sale this week (if u are in the US) for less than a buck each.

Hi everyone,
Using the Brazil Mac method I've managed to put it on a single layer dvd over the past weekend.
My next step is try to install it using again the Brazil Mac way,I'm just fiddling with the thing and see if it works.

I'm wondering the same with .dmg files...
