I've installed Kalaway 10.5.2 and everything seems to have installed okay, but I am having a hell of a time get my wireless card to be recognized. I have tried installing drivers from RealTek's website to no avail. I beleive I have the 8187 but I am not sure if it is the 'B' or 'L'.

I did select the drivers during the Kalaway installation but apparently that didn't work. Can anyone help?

Where to find VendorID and DeviceID in OSX?

Ok, so the bottom of my laptop says RTL8187B. In system profiler under USB I see:

Manufacturer: Manufacturer_RealTek
ProductID: 0x8197
Serial Number: 00e04c000001
Vendor ID: 0x0bda

The drivers that I have installed from RealTek's website don't really seem to do anything. They do install the WLAN client but it just bounces down in my dock and eventually quits responding. sad.gif Help.

I fixed this for this user, he has the files you need. (ethernet and wireless working)

I see you fixed a wireless problem for this user - do you think your solution might work for my setup? The vendor ID of my realtek RTL wifi is 0x0bda - similar to his/hers.

I have a p5W DH deluxe mb - and have tried to install the drivers on a boot 132 install with chameleon boot 1.0.12 working on the hd.

No luck so far...

Thanks
