No, there is no link, you need to adjust the subsystem ID's and the antenna gains for the card to work properly, I have a service for this or you can try and make the modifications yourself, if you brick the card cause you made the wrong changes more than likely I can recover the card (also a service I provide) and fees range from $7.95 to $19.95 (if you brick it it's $19.95) depending on the service needed.
