has anyone had this issue before

after shutdown, i restart the computer and the machine goes through 2 or 3 unsuccessful startup before the bios (post screen). it powers up, then powers off. after two or three time, sometimes even four or five, i hear the beep and then the post screen. the Operating System works fine and it happens sometimes when i change bios options. i save the bios config then it shutdown the whole computer, then restarts. doing the same thing, power off and on cycles.

then i flashed the bios with f12 and i thought that fixed it but at least now it does less power cycles on and off.

any ideas??

Before I updated the bios to F12 I only had this behaviour when sending the hackintosh to sleep. It fell asleep and after 4-5 seconds it rebooted over and over again...

Now, with v.F12 this problem is gone - but another apeared: having the hackintosh sleep lets it reboot when finally shutting down. Sometimes it takes 10 seconds for it to reboot, sometimes 2 minutes. It's weird and I can't find a fix - but, it is the only issue and the only thing that's not like a real mac so - I take it with a smile ;-)
