Full Version: Fedora Core 9
Has anybody downloaded the x64 Live KDE CD of Fedora Core 9 and installed it? I find KDE 4 horribly glitchy and buggy. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue? I also don't like how everything is a widget or whatever you want to call it. I'd like regular icons please.
That's because of KDE4.
It's unstable as
If you want to stick with kde, install KDE 3 and then some KDE4 packages, so KDE4 apps would work too.

You should have tried kde 4.0 when it came out, I almost cried using it........4.1 beta I agree is very unstable but still better than 4.0.
I bet it will be stable enough for daily use by the final release though
Hmmmm Fedora 9 using X86 is still glitchy, and I am using Gnome. Sometimes it locks me out of the system entirely. Not sure what to do then but go back to OS X.
