Full Version: Installing apps, themes etc on the iphone with mac?

i have been having some problem wiht my wifi as a result i cant access intaller, so i was wonering if there was a way to put stuff from you mac to the iphone, an app or something like that?

Assumably you could maybe do it with ssh, though usually installer.app handles the actuall installing so I'm not sure if it would be that simple.


Also I know you can put apps on it when your jailbraiking with ipwnage or whatever it's called.

If you're using windows, use filecommander with a plugin to see filesystem of DFU-mode devices.
If you're mac, use PhoneView (There is a downloadable demo around the net...).

In Cydia, there is software called Netatalk that will allow you to access your iPhone via your WiFi network under shared computers.
