I've decided I want to turn my Xbox into a XBMC. I've done a lot of reading on the matter but I've found some of the guides confusing and they differ slightly. Because I don't have a lot of free time, I was hoping some of you guys could help me out and explain a few things.

Like I said, I've found a few guides but they differ slightly. So I was hoping someone could tell me how they managed to get XBMC working.

Also I'm not sure exactly what files I need. Are there options?
Also where exactly do I get the required files.

Really appreciate any help.

Original xbox or the xbox 360?
Do you already have your xbox modded?
Softmod or Hardmod?

I have 4 of the originals "tweaked". I just wish they had more cpu & video horsepower. What an awesome media center they would be!!!

try xbox-scene.com (The links in the top menu for Tools, Software, Guides, etc). You will also need an irc client. Sometimes you have to go to chat rooms to find out where software is.

Let me know you're setup. I may still have files laying around you can use.
