I apologize if this is already been discussed but my searching has not provided me with any solutions.
When I plug any device like my USB hard drive or my blackberry into my computer, then turn it on, it sees the device no problem etc. When I remove the device, and then plug it back in, the computer never detects it. I have to reboot my machine.
I am running Kalyway 10.5.2. Here is the specs of my machine:
Motherboard:
ga-m61p-s3
chipset nvidia geforce 6100/nforce 430 Chipset
Thanks

Had the same problem, after I upgraded to kalyway 10.5.3 the problem went away.
It seems apple put a fix in.

It has vanilla kernel and 10.5.3 patched kernel.
On 1 computer I installed the vanilla kernel for my core 2 duo.
On the other I installed the patched 10.5.3 kernel.

Kalyway has a combo update, First the update, then a kernel update, If you download it, it has a howto you can read!
