I'm just wondering what everyone's thought is when it comes to Linux.

The big question is: What is the best Linux Distribution?!?!?!

Or at least which one do you THINK is the best..........

My favourite is Ubuntu 8.04 at the moment, because it's really great for productivity and it's very powerful. I just love Compiz and Beryl on it, makes it one of the most beautiful operating systems in the world with that.....



What about you? What's your favourite Linux Distribution and which one do you think is the best?

I lose respect for Ubuntu users unless they are reasonable people.

I've lost respect for most (open)suse users.

I still don't understand how ubuntu is the best looking operating system in the world

Compiz and Beryl r desktop effects, they don't make your operating system any prettier, they just give it effects, in fact everyone knows ubuntu is the ugliest gnome distro out there.

I am sure everyone will agree with me here, I mean all Mac users know that the OS only is pretty because of the GUI.

Hello, Sorry for my english.
I want to say you that you must prove "Sabayonlinux". When I ran it in my computer, first time, I thought that is my OS. It´s based in a Gentoo distribution. Now, I have windows, linux and hackintosh in my computer but when I work, I do it whith linux (Sabayon)
