Dear all,

I just bougth this small device and installed with open soure driver USBAx8817x.kext and I have the following problem:

When I boot my computer, on the system preference the Ethernet adapter is not plugged in (insead is plugged on the usb port)
so for it's works I need to remove it from USB port and replug it, after it work fine,

Can anyone help me??

BTW, when I start the mac osx, I see a similar warning, but I unplug and re-plug the adaptor and work.
It isn't a problem for me...

OK, I found the solution for my problem, I installed the Appleusbethernet.kext, from macgirl (thanks macgirl)
and the usbethernet adapter now works perfectly also after a reboot, so I don't need anymore to unplug and plug, to works,
