Hi all,
Following the excellent advise on this website I've managed get a decent hackintosh box up and running 10.5.2 and logic 8 - its a 3.2Ghz C2D with 4gb and an 8800gt.

After a little tweaking I've got everything up and running sweetly and I have to say I'm incredibly impressed smile.gif

As the project has worked so well I've decided to move my recording over to this machine from my macbook which really struggles with lots of tracks. Therefore I'm now looking for a USB interface which will allow me to record 2 guitar tracks at once (to seperate tracks) in Logic and is confirmed working fine using osx86. I would consider a firewire unit but my motherboard doesn't have built in firewire and I expect getting a firewire PCI card to work in osx86 will be difficult.

Does anyone have any recommendations, advice, opinions on what might be my best option?
Thanks for looking

Something simple: Behringer UCA202 or Griffin iMic

A bit more fancy, look around here, models from EMU, M-Audio, Edirol...pretty much any USB interface that is Mac Compatible should work on your hackintosh.

if you can find an old audigy or audigy 2 card with firewire, drop that in and the firewire port'll work perfectly wink.gif
