Seem like the project has been suspended and left at a very unusable/unstable state. Am i missing out on anything or should i ditch 10.4.8 and try my luck with 10.5? An OS without internet connection is kinna pointless or will i end up with the same issues on leo?

is there any solution/workaround other than buying a usb wifi device? Don't really have the necessary cash right now.

You can always try wired internet. ...My computer can grab it from it's ethernet -patch needed- or i can use Mac OSX's internet sharing through firewire to get internet.
