On my setup, i have a triple boot with Windows Xp, Vista, and Leopard. Vista is primary, and it is what i use to triple boot.Before i looked at this post http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=57632i opened vmware fusion. To no suprise, i get the bootcamp partition.. but its the vista partition, which is all great and dandy.. but i would like the windows xp partition as well.in Fdisk, i flagged Windows Xp's partition, i typed "write" and i am given this messages "Device could not be accessed exclusively.A reboot will be needed for changes to take effect. OK? [n] yWriting MBR at offset 0."so i typed y, and for the hell of it, i opened vmware.. but no new bootcamp partitions apeared, even after deleting the vista one from the list. I suspect i would have to restart for the mbr changes to take affect, unless their is another way. If i restart, i will not be given a tri boot menu, as i am booting into Windows xp, and i run the risk of screwing up my whole mbr. Any suggestions, thanks.
also now, when i boot my vista 64 bit os, i get a "64 bit os error" basically telling me to ask for support or probably set the os as 64 bit in settings, which i do not see a setting for.
