Full Version: VMWare Installation of Mac OS X has Built-in Ethernet disabled

Hi all.

I just installed a version of Mac OS X 10.4.8 on VMWare. My guest OS is Windows Vista with SP1.

Everything is working just fine. The only problem I have is I can't get the network to work. I have checked the network ports and the Built-in Ethernet is disabled. Here is the screen shot:



Can anyone help me get the network working please?

There is a kext for VMware network, maxxuss AMD-Net. Which install DVD did you use?

I installed the JaS 10.4.8 Intel/AMD SSE2/SSE3 PPF1 + PPF2 ISO as suggested in the article http://pcwiz.50webs.com/windows/vmwareosx86.htm
