So I've used iWeb before to publish a site through my school, Miami University's, server but now i want to start it over and make it totally different looking; specifically I want it to look like pages that I've sliced in Photoshop (I was thinking of using the Photoshop documents as just the background...nothing too intense). Anyways, iWeb keeps greying out ALL options now and won't let me do ANYTHING...I can't add text, shapes...and every option in Inspector is greyed out as well. My Mac OSX has had MANY problems and I've had to "wipe it out" a few times so maybe I have to reinstall iWeb? I'm pretty new to all this so ANY help would be amazing! I just want to make a sweet site for my Interior Design portfolio!

Just reinstall it, not worth the trouble. Also, iWeb is kind of lower class to say the least. Good for people trying to make a quick page, but WYSIWYG editors like Dreamweaver will do a better job, and they are less prone to problems.

Or alternatively you can install a small CMS like cushyCMS and mod from there. I'd highly recommend a WordPress install on your server to do what you want it to smile.gif
