Hi everbody

On my current install of 10.5.2 using the kalyway disc everything works just fine except the USB 2.0. If i set the it to FullSpeed in the BIOS everything works just fine but as soon as i change it to HiSpeed none of my harddrives mounts nor are they shown in hardware profiler though my mouse still work perfectly.

I've tried using USB fix package found in this thread and booting with -v -f. I've also tried loading the MassStorageClass:
CODE
kextload -b com.apple.iokit.IOUSBMassStorageClass

this changes absolutely nothing. executing:
CODE
dmesg | grep -i USB

gives this:
CODE
USBF: 5.771 AppleUSBOHCI[0x3a0c000]::CheckSleepCapability - OHCI controller will be unloaded across sleep
USB0: family specific matching fails
USB2: family specific matching fails

Everything I've tried so far has failed.

Any help is much appriciated..
Thanks in advance

I'm kinda in the same boat. I did a fresh install with Kalyway 10.5.2 dvd this morning and everything works great, but I have no USB.

It's strange because USB worked out of box when I installed via the 10.5.1 dvd and continued to work after I updated to 10.5.2 via the normal update method.

I installed the PCGenusbehci kext and still doesn't work.

Hi guys,

same for me. I installed 10.5.2 for my wife today and I got no USB EXCEPT my original Apple Keyboard & MightyMouse which both work without any problems.

That's strange! sad.gif
