This is not really an iPhone problem but I guess the iTouch could apply as well.

So, whenever I search for youtube videos it says 'cannot connect to youtube' but the strange thing is safari works. The stranger thing is that when I went on my youtube' history, the videos I found there loaded perfectly, so I guess the problem is in the youtube' 'browser'.

I tried restoring and upgrading but they made no difference. Its pretty wierd because this happened all of a sudden with no apparent cause. Any help from you guys would be greatly appreciated.

There's a youtube fix in installer. Try it.

It didn't work. But I also noticed that iTunes has the same problem in terms of searching..

Restore to 1.1.4 and reactivate using ZiPhone or iLiberty. It should work that way.
