I was wondering with the Router I have, is there anyway I can connect my External Hard Drive to it to access it? I have a MBP and I didn't know if there is anything I can connect my external to that it would work with.

Any info (other than buying a new router) is a appreciated smile.gif

Thanks!

Sadly I don't think there is any other alternative other than:

1. Wiring the HDD through a small computer next to the router
2. Time Capsule

Ah that's what I figured.

Thank you for the response that's pretty much what I figured.

I never said it didn't work, I said I wondered if there was any way I could hook my external hard drive up to it.

Yeah, you can get a network accessible storage device. It's basically an external enclosure with ethernet. Plug it in to your router and tada.

(Hard drive usually not included.)

I think he might mean enclosure?

Even though they look like ext. HDs a lot of the stuff listed on that page are enclosures.
