I installed a belkin wifi F5D7050 USB stick using Ralink drivers for the RT2870 on OS X 10.5.2 (kalyway) and whilst it worked initially and I was able to connect to networks I am now having trouble obtaining IP addresses from DHCP. It just stopped - and now it won't no matter what I try!

If I assign an IP manually it still works just fine regardless of the wifi network being encrypted or not. But I need it to be able to use DHCP as I only know appropriate IP settings for my home network and nothing else wink.gif

Any suggestions? I've tried both of the Ralink drivers on the net; the ones for the RT2870 are for 10.4 .5 and the other set is mostly 10.3 and .4 but both work with the chipset in this stick.

Ok, a few crashes and reboots later and seems to be working fine again... the onboard ethernet has appeared and magically started working too. smile.gif I'd share any useful information but there isn't any, it all just started working again...
