for some reason my post does not show up and the search function won't work, i've tried using my history bar to locate my post and when i click on it, it said that the link is broken or that the post is out dated.
Software Updater
Do the following

My Controls --> Posts

Do you see what you have posted there? Your posts might have been moved or the server hasn't cached the post yet. Regarding the search function, it is a known error and I believe the developers are working intensely to get it working again.

I can see all your posts right here. Click on your name in a topic and click on "Find Member's Posts."

I notice when you do a fast reply sometimes my posts wont show. I had it happen to me twice today. Its there and then gone as soon as I refresh.

EDIT:

I also noticed that other peoples posts are disappearing. Its very strange like if you watch some topics if someone said something brief like thank you or this is a good topic. Sometimes those just disappear. My friends first post was one of those and it was in one of my topics and its gone now. I know he said it and I know I'm not going crazy. It was there for a week and now its gone. I even quoted him and my quoted message was also gone. Very strange. I think the mods delete these types of posts but i'm not sure why.

It might be a database error....

This is definitely happening and at an increasing rate. I cant imagine this being all random. Seems like someone or something wants certain posts to disappear. I had posted to one of the awards topics above this one and now today nothing is there. Its like it was never there. Also a few others also posted there and there posts are also gone. I had quoted one of them thats how i remembered it.

00Diabolic, there is no mystery here, the forum is continuously cleaned of junk posts, spam, etc. Non-descriptive topic titles and spelling errors get corrected, posts moved, etc, to keep some kind of order. where a complaint is made, it is common to clean up the thread and leave it in a state where it can continue on-topic.
Where possible, special attention is paid to development threads, to avoid cluttering them with non-useful information. Commonly posts consisting of 2 or 3 words like "blah sucks" or "foo ftw" also get culled. The object is to make this not only a living community, but a useful informational resource, too.

That explains it. THANKS Hager. I figured something was happening to them.

So I guess that is were old topics go to die LOL. There was an old topic I can find reference to on google cached about sonix webcams thats not on insanelymac anymore. Good info but no one had responded to it in over a year so thats why its gone.
