Hi,

I just loaded iAtkos on my Compaq Persario C751NR laptop, and out of curiosity, I know that removing all the CPU thermal kexts is known to improve cooling, but based on what temps exactly?

I have my system installed with the thermal kext files in OS X, I'm getting CPU temps of 63c tops.....I run the system for hours so far and my laptop fan works fine, system seems to run stable and solid.


Anyone getting less than this? and what should be a good average with a Intel Core Duo CPU at 1.6ghz speed? Am I too high still and would I see improvements by removing those files? If so, which files?
