when i load a osx leopard with a usb pen drive in the usb the removable disk is picked up ...
when leopard is already runing and i put it in, it dose not
same problem with digital camera
help!?

Problem is with System.kext and Kernel version not matching. Did you install timemachine/airport update (which installs 9.2.2) and then replaced the kernel with an older one?
There are lots of threads on this particular issue in this forum, search for them before you start a new thread
