Hi all,
searching around I understood that you have to flash the 512 MB Geforce cards with a modded Bios.
But what happens if you don't flash them? Does the card work fine, with QE/CI and resolution change, and you get only 256 MB available?
Or will I have issues and problems?

If it's OK but with only 256 MB available then it's fine for me, I just need the extra memory for games in Windows.
I was thinking on buying a used 7950.

Else, if you get big issues with original bios, I will hunt a 256 MB 7900 GT.
