(Help) Fix my brightness and sleep (Acer 5750G)

12 November 2012 - 09:59 PM

Hello Guys!

I am running my first Hachintosh [Mac Lion] fairly good, but I have a problem with the sleep and brightness. The sleep doesn't work, the screen goes black and remains black even if I try to wake it up. I have to shutdown my laptop manually to get back to the desktop.  The problem with the brightness it is too high even if I lower it down to the very end. The brightness level remains 50 percent bright even while the slider is one step level from the end like below.

kernel panic with AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement

02 August 2012 - 09:11 PM

I am getting a kernel panic which seems to be linked to AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement, this is a picuture off Google similiar to what I see. This problem happened after I created my Extra folder using Muti-Beast. Booting in any mode gives me the same kernel panic, how can I delete the files on my Extra folder or is there another way to fix it?

No Audio after Mountain Lion Installation

01 August 2012 - 06:09 AM

I installed Mountain Lion, almost everything is working good speaking of wireless and graphics, but not the sound.
Do I need to use Multi-Beast to get the audio working? If yes, which one do I select from the options for my system?

I have tried few of them so far, but not success have been made.

Laptop Specif:

Acer Aspire 5750-9292
Intel HD Graphics 3000
Intel Core i7-2630QM

Connecting PC Monitor on Intel HD Graphics 3000 [Video Included]

08 July 2012 - 05:55 AM

When I'm on the desktop and I plugin my monitor to my laptop, nothing shows up on my monitor. But if I plug it to my laptop when it is booting up, I can see everything on my monitor up to the user login section. As soon as the user screen shows up, my monitor goes black.

Why does this happen and how do I fix it?

Thanks in Advance!
