Hi there guys. So, basically, I made this topic for creating a kext for this driver that supports resolutions, external monitor and QE/CI, as I have it in my Dell E6500 and I don't really intend to change it, and I'm already a developer so I decided to go for it.

The way I'm doing it is to compare files of the GMA X950 driver and the GMA X3100 driver. PookyMacMan helps me with it and he said the hardest part is the exe, so he said that we shall use IDA to retrieve the original code and I'll do that and then post the code, and then we can see how to get it done.

Just a little note, this will take extremely much time mostly. I'm doing it for fun so I don't care.

Hey there, so, I'm Egyptian, so I thought about contributing a little to the Arabic forums. I'm experiencing 2 problems actually.

The first one is that the font is quite small. A readable Arabic font shall be about 16 (EDIT: 18 actually) (according to the forum's font size levels). The other problem is that:

أنا أحب InsanelyMac

shall actually be

InsanelyMac أنا أحب

Which means "I love InsanelyMac". Simply, the problem is that I have to write the English word first to let it be at the end of the sentence when I write in Arabic. This sucks when I use English terms between the lines. I know that this is common and it's not really easy to solve it, but I just thought about bringing it up here.

EDIT: There's also one problem. I can't find a single active local mod for the Arabic section

First, I thought I should post this in "The Great Debates", but as I have no permissions to do so, let's just put it here.

Well, I'm using both Windows and Mac. It's a Dell E6500 laptop hackintosh. What really impresses me, is everything. Everything is better than Windows. The dock, the AppStore, flash, literally everything. The most thing that amazes me though is the sound quality. This is the most perfect quality I've ever heard. The sound on Windows is a little choppy and gets a like 0.2 sec cut every 5 seconds or so, not the promised quality. Sound on Mac though is the best thing I've ever heard before. While it's even a hackintosh, not a real Mac.

Here in Egypt everyone uses Windows. After Dad and a close friend of mine saw my hackintosh, they insisted on letting me making them one. So I was thinking about starting a project of installing hackintoshes on people's computers in Egypt. Isn't it legal? Why isn't there a company that offers a service to install hackintoshes? I would be proud to help someone who offers so.

I would really appreciate your reply about that point. Why don't we offer other "normal" people hackintoshes instead of that s*it called Windows?

By the way, I'm not even using Lion. I'm using Snow Leopard. I can't get Lion to work .____.

For the second time, I've successfully installed iAtkos for someone (And I still can't get it to work for me .___. )

The only problem is that I can't find kexts for this graphics driver. It's working perfectly, but only with the "GraphicsEnabler=No" thing..

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

P.S.: Without GraphicsEnabler=No, it boots normally till it achieves that rotating thing, then it crashes and brings that "press power button" thing.
