I have mountain lion 10.8.3 installed with the bcm4311. It worked for me from SL all the way to ML. Maybe you are using the wrong kext.

I've been looking for the same kext for the intel wifi link 1000 bgn. No luck here. Better off just getting a Broadcom card and swapping it into your laptop.
