I also tried the beta for my 660m GTX without positive results.  I would say that no need to hope something from the incomong updates, the drivers should work with our hardware but the architecture is different, so we need to edit the binaries/DSDT to get it work.

Well i think that you need to use PCIRootUID=1 instead since you have an ATI graphic card, give it a shot.

For the memory detection problem, your best bet is to use clover bootloader as it is a common problem with G75 series.
For the GPU, it is normal that it is detected using graphicsEnabler=Yes (it has nothing to do with SmBios) but as long as you have no NVDResman.kext loaded, it is like adding a DSDT injection without working kexts.
We are actually working on a similar laptop (G75VW) and i think it is because of the disabled HD4000 that we are experiencing this problem (someone else got his 660m GTX to work nativelly without any modifications on an AlienWare Mx17).
