Thanks, ill try that on the Desktop, but sadly, im actually trying to get it to work on my laptop right now as thats my main device currently...

Do you have the RAID option? Use it: RAID usually implies AHCI.
Nope, there are no SATA mode options whatsoever...

Anyone able to help? Im trying to install, but its not detecting my HDD (i have no AHCI option in BIOS and its set to IDE...) my device is SB700/800/900, it doesnt specify which though...

not working for my ML install, HDD not detecting at installer screen... does this even work with ML?
