Nvidia GT216 GeForce 330M problem ,VPCCW26FG

10 April 2012 - 09:43 PM

I have a sony vaio VPCCW26FG and I successfuly installed MAC OS X 10.6.8 On it with touchpad ,keyboard and Sound.
Before the explaning the problem let me write what I've done.

--Installed Mac OS X 10.6.3
--Upgrade To Update Combo 10.6.8
--Installed Kexts For Audio ,USB Devices,, Touchpad and etc

Then I tried to install Titan kext with importing the NVCAP value and others within .plist but when I reboot and start with "GraphicsEnabler=Yes" after the apple boot screen logo goes ,the screen goes blank so I got curios and searched over the internet then I found out that this is internal sony vaio laptop screen problems so I connected my laptop my LCD TV via HDMI cable and screen came out bright and full HD with Resolution True also all settings recognized but in my own laptop ,All I see is blank.

I tried NVINJECT & NVEnabler & many others and they work when I edit the .plist with deviceID and NVCap On My TV but in laptop's LCD Its just blank.

My graphic card Model is GT216 GeForce 330M with mobile G.P.U

I was hoping if anyone could help me solve this problem...

Problem in Installing MAC on SONY VAIO VPCCW2 Series

10 April 2012 - 02:38 PM

Hi.
I have a sony vaio laptop model name is VPCCW26FG.
I wanted to install macintosh on it so I surfed internet for help.
First I was able to install hackintosh on my PC but on my laptop I wasn't able to... so I made a google-search and found out the problem was the AHCI mode which in my sony laptop bios there isn't enough configuration setting as in any other vaio laptops. (then I realized the system configures itself automatically depending on your need ,so I left this case).
I found out the problem was common but user's using this model and installing hackintosh are not many.
now the main thread which is essential for the experts reading this is I have 3 mac installation disk, One of them is IATKOS LS3 (MAC 10.6.3) and IATKOS LS1 (MAC LION) and One old disk using DARWIN (10.5.6) I Guess ;

The Old disk I can boot with command "-v -F busratio=18 arch=x86_64" and installation becomes successful but booting after install is not successful no matter what command I type.
The IATKOS LS2 is the same as my Old disk.
The IATKOS LS3 doesn't get the installation so I tried "-v" command it shows this message [pc configuration begins] and hangs. (I Used the npci=0x2000 command but not working ).

I'm sure there are many people having my problem but can't find anything so if I get this problem solved ,then I post a complete tutorial about this on my website with respect to experts answers in this forum.

ALC883 Audio is walking on my nerve

02 October 2011 - 07:02 AM

Hi Guys.
I'm new in this forum and this is my first so if i made any mistakes ,take it easy.

I just installed mac os x 10.6.3 on my PC (PC's config will be shown down this topic) and everything worked fine instead of audio.

my audio card is Realtek ALC883 8 Channel.

on 10.6.3 audio was working just by voodooHDA which was included in installation disk i had for 10.6.3 but the microphone was not working also in system info the computer did not recognize my audio card model.

after i downloaded the latest MAC OS X update which was 10.6.8 my graphic card was fully recognized and the speed was like speed of light but the audio had the same problem.

i searched many website for audio KEXT files and i downloaded many of them and installed them too but the problem didn't solve either.

there was one KEXT file which was about 8MBs and it made my system recognize the audio card model and channels but the problem was it just made my mic work and there was no sound.

so i turned back into voodooHDA and now i just have my sound and no mic.

my request is if there is anyone in this forum who had the same problem and solved it by any tools ,please help me.
