This is a tiny shell script made by me, that can patch the kext in singlelink or duallink.
If you want to execute the commands manually, here they are:

Allora, per prima cosa potresti patchare il DSDT con questa patch. Poi, installa FakeSMC (ma togli NullCPUPM) dalla branch di Slice (ovvero da qua), che non da alcun errore a me.

Sharing my experience with OS X onHP DC7700
Firstly, remember you should replace the integrated Intel card with another one via PCIe.
Now download my package.
What it contains?
KextsAppleACPIPS2Nub.kext - PS/2 Kext
ApplePS2Controller.kext - PS/2 Kext
fakesmc.kext - FakeSMC kext (which emulates SMC device) edited to works better on Core 2 Processors

SMBios.plist - Use it at installation only. After that you can use what you want
SSDT.aml - SSDT which generates C & P States successfully

EHCI (don't need to delete AppleHPET.kext)
ICH8 LPC (to fix some errors with AppleLPC)

I tried to inject the GFX0 Device with _DSM Method (changing infos of GFX). I can boot with original kexts with "GE=Yes -v" but the screen is:
Strange :| . I need more info about injecting the display into DSDT.
These values are picked up from IORegistryExplorer (on SL 10.6.7 w/ Partial QE/CI)

That's a kernel panic, but i can't see all the text. If you can, attach another image with full text.
Anyway, try to boot with these flags:-v cpus=1
-v GraphicsEnabler=No
-v -x cpus=1

Replace IO80211Family.kext with THIS, rollbacked from 10.6.8 with BCM4312 ID (it is the same for your adapter).

Sorry, i thought it was a Celeron Dual Core processor :poster_oops: .
So the patch should be "DV6 Core2 ICH9 GENERIC".
Try to patch your DSDT with that patch and see if there's any error.

Hey nhcsaba, i had the same issue and i fixed it:
Add this string to org.chameleon.boot.plist
<key>SystemId</key><string>**</string>
Replace the ** with the key generated from this site
P.S.: I also installed Chimera, but i think the boot loader is not the problem! :)

All your hardware should go:
i7 2600k - Native
ASUS P8Z68 Deluxe - Patch for DSDT (with this, you can compile a new DSDT)
AMD Radeon HD 6850 - Add device id in: ATI6000Controller.kext and ATIRadeonX3100.kext
Ethernet, Audio, SATA, etc.. - Go here and scroll down to 'Extensions'
NEC USB 3.0 - PXHCD.kext
For BIOS Settings, SpeedStep, and more go here (installation guide)
