Posted by giofrida on 02 April 2014 - 08:19 PM

Hi. Could you please send to me Device, Vendor, SubVendor and SubDevice your  Atheros AR9285 (580101-002)? These data can be seen through DPCIManager in the tab PCI List. Download link: http://sourceforge.n...ts/dpcimanager/Thanks! =)  Sure, but it's better to do that on Windows, because I edited the IDs to get the card working on OS X (through DSDT):PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_002B&SUBSYS_3040103C&REV_01 Vendor: 168C (Atheros)Device:  002BSubsystem Device:  3040Subsystem Vendor: 103C (HP)Rev:  01 Hi all. I have HP g62 B24ER. Can anyone, who successfully disabled intel hd, see in AIDA64 what vendor and model of your notebook display. It is important for successful disabling integrated video... For example, i have display AU Optronics B156XW02 V2, and if i disable intel hd, i don't have LED backlight. Here's my report:Elemento ValoreProprietà schermo Nome schermo AU Optronics B156XW02 V2ID monitor AUO22ECProduttore AUOMode...

#1986560 [HP G62] Failed to locate SMC driver

Posted by giofrida on 19 January 2014 - 09:18 AM

Ciao.

#1980997 [GUIDE] 1st Generation Intel HD Graphics QE/CI

Posted by giofrida on 02 January 2014 - 08:35 AM

One idea I've been debating on figuring out how to achieve for some time is patching the framebuffer for our first-generation Intel HD Graphics on-the-fly.  Certain bootloaders, like Clover and XPC, support this.  The added benefit of this is that as long as the framebuffer patches remain the same (I assume this only applies to updates, like from 10.9 to 10.9.1, rather than upgrades, like from 10.8.5 to 10.9), we won't have to re-patch or roll back older kexts.  The patch will happen seamlessly by the bootloader. The patches work by find and replace as opposed to offsets, so I assume that such an endeavor will require Mavericks.  I know giofrida posted some patches a while back in this thread (back when it was still in DP), but I don't think those patches worked.  Giofrida, could you could send me the patches you currently use for your patching app for me to test?  Thanks in advanced!! P.S. - If anyone could pass along a hex difference in the...

I'm sorry to say that it still doesn't work in Mavericks DP7.There's no output, just a blank screen. But Framebuffer from 10.8.5 works well.Hi. Please try this version. Try both Mode 1 and Mode 2 patches. Thanks Attached Files  Intel HD Graphics Patcher.zip 791.67KB 37 downloads

I found all the hex edits.Download the document. The first hex line is the line you have to find and the second one is the line you have to replace. The string: B9 00 00 00 09 C7 85 60 FF FF doesn't exist in 10.9 FB. There are other similar ones. I don't know if it's important or not. Attached Files  HD PATCHES.rtf 4.07KB 18 downloads

#1921600 OS X Mountain Lion - ASUS P8H67-M Pro (B3) Installation Guide

Hi giofrida, Will try add a score this week for Geekbench. I edited CPUPM with the MacbookPro8,3 data to get more P-states. This patch is not compatible with the newest BIOS, that is why I use their patch for newer BIOS as base. Thanks for the USB3.0 tip! I don't have any USB3.0 device yet, but it would be nice to have more USB-ports. :) Thanks. Just tried editing the kext. It "unlocks" at least 3-4 more p-states. Maybe I'll try doing the same thing with our laptop because I only get 924MHz and 2260MHz.

Have you tried editing AGPM.kext? Have you disabled the nVidia GPU? Can you even use the nVidia GPU? I was talking about my GTX 580 on my desktop pc to do an example.

#1914038 [SOLVED][No sleep] Asus P8Z68-V/GEN3 + Sapphire Radeon HD7850 2GB OC

Posted by giofrida on 10 May 2013 - 02:34 PM

Hi, thanks a lot for the patched DSDT. Unfortunately I didn't feel any difference. - still no sleep in Chameleon but... As I said before I moved to Clover and with both - yours and mine - DSDT I can sleep and wake but only using iMac12,2 definition which is bad... really really bad. With this definition I have PM problems AGAIN. Which means my PC runs all the time at turbo mode (x48) and from time to time drops for about half a second to x16 - even when it's idle... Generating P/CStates with Clover didn't help. So for now I can have PM or Sleep... Difficult choice... ;/ @k3nny: I will get back to patching vbios later on ;D but on the web I read that Z68 boards doesnt support fast boot and in fact I don't have this option in my uefi bios. But as I said I'll get back to that later :) For PM, download this: https://github.com/P...saio/acpi/Tools and open ssdtPRGen.app. After the IASL download, it generates an SSDT automatically according to your CPU.

Hi pfilipp, try this DSDT. I patched it with the patch I linked. The problem of the patch is that it duplicated the SBUS and HDEF device. I fixed the errors. Attached Files  DSDT_Patched.zip 54.66KB 9 downloads

Allora, per prima cosa potresti patchare il DSDT con questa patch. Poi, installa FakeSMC (ma togli NullCPUPM) dalla branch di Slice (ovvero da qua), che non da alcun errore a me.
