AppleACPIPlatform.kext is your problem - rollback to the 10.8 and all should be good

I also have a 9600 GT and its great however i recently built another machine and in that i put a 610 GT and its also great. Not OOTB however just need to add the device id to the nVidea kext and you are away.

Just tried again booting with -x -v and it stops here - any clues anyone?
