Yes this is a common problem. Booting with an external monitor plugged in should resolve your problem. Keep in mind that you will have to install graphics drivers afterwards to prevent this problem from persisting.

Big update! We are provided with an AMD kernel for 10.7.3! Don't bother. I have the same netbook and there are NO drivers/kexts available for both Wifi and the GMA 3150. I've opened up my N220 to see if I could swap the Wifi card, but it's slightly different from normal cards and since it has Bluetooth 3.0 built-in, you can't use regular wifi mini-pci cards.
