Kernel Panic Help

13 June 2011 - 02:23 PM

Good morning, everyone. :)

I'm attempting to install OSX Snow Leopard on a ASUS M4A78T-E motherboard with an AMD Phenom II X4 965 processor.

I am trying to install OSX via iATKOS 3 but I'm running into an unfortunate problem. Every time I try to load the installation program via the bootloader, I am met by a kernel panic. I can't seem to figure out what is happening. I've attached a photo of the kernel panic to this message.

Any help that you folks can give me would be very much appreciated! Thank you!

EDIT: I was able to get past the bootloader and avoid a kernel panic by using a busratio bootflag. However, I now have another problem. My computer just hangs at an Apple loader with a "No Entry" sign above it. I've posted a pic of that as well.

Does anyone know why this is happening?

Thanks again!
