#2071471 Haswell-E mach_kernel patch (5960X, 5830K and 5820K) Yosemite

ASUS sucks hahaha (I have an ASUS motherboard)  Both of my Testing boards are Asus and no issues here. Why do people blame the hardware and not themselves?

I personally have not seen a lot of successful X-79 MB let alone your latest X99 MB. I would recommend you try install Mavericks first as there is really no official installer support for Yosemite yet as Apple still has not officially release final GM of Yosemite to the public. It is expected before the end of this month but not a certainty. If you can successfully install Mavericks into your new rig, you can get free Yosemite from apple APP store while running Mavericks. Intel HASWELL CPU has early restart issue and needs patched kernel. I have no idea about your i7 5820K HASWELL-E  CPU. I expect probably early restart issue. To install Mavericks, I recommend following guides:http://www.insanelym...for-hackintosh/http://www.insanelym...-for-mavericks/http://cloverboot.we...nstall-osx.html  For patching Haswell kernel to prevent early reboot, please read the following: http://www.insanelym...63cl-i7-4700mq/ Good luck buddy, you are pretty much a pi...

Full power management is unlikely to happen without Apple.Since most core functions seem to work pretty easily, there is not really much more progress needed other than Clover.  All one really needs is Rampage's SSDT when he releases, a few kexts (all available already if you search this forum for the requisite chipset drivers), and chameleon on a USB. SSDT is working perfectly now. Moving onto Clover and getting it to boot with the least amount of settings.

I am addressing the SATA Port ID in the x99 DMG's SSDT's. The DMG initial release should be early next week.

#2060440 Use Intel HD4000 graphics card with 2 GB of memory, is outstanding!

can you explain how to patch? :) Very simple really: http://rampagedev.wo...graphics-guide/ I have broken down the Framebuffer for HD4600/4400 which has the same structure so take a look there for what he changed.

Deleting unrelated drivers is not a solution.  For Chameleon add the following to your Boot.Plist:<key>IGPEnabler</key><string>Yes</string><key>IGPlaformID</key><string>0a260006</string> For Clover find:<key>Graphics</key><dict>…</dict>And add the following Code under there:<key>ig-platform-id</key><string>0x0a260006</string>If you need more background information you can find more here.

Yes if you have a ssdt for pm which you don't really need at all... You can rename it as ssdt-1.
