Full power management is unlikely to happen without Apple.Since most core functions seem to work pretty easily, there is not really much more progress needed other than Clover.  All one really needs is Rampage's SSDT when he releases, a few kexts (all available already if you search this forum for the requisite chipset drivers), and chameleon on a USB. SSDT is working perfectly now. Moving onto Clover and getting it to boot with the least amount of settings.

I am addressing the SATA Port ID in the x99 DMG's SSDT's. The DMG initial release should be early next week.

#2060440 Use Intel HD4000 graphics card with 2 GB of memory, is outstanding!

can you explain how to patch? :) Very simple really: http://rampagedev.wo...graphics-guide/ I have broken down the Framebuffer for HD4600/4400 which has the same structure so take a look there for what he changed.

Deleting unrelated drivers is not a solution.  For Chameleon add the following to your Boot.Plist:<key>IGPEnabler</key><string>Yes</string><key>IGPlaformID</key><string>0a260006</string> For Clover find:<key>Graphics</key><dict>…</dict>And add the following Code under there:<key>ig-platform-id</key><string>0x0a260006</string>If you need more background information you can find more here.

Yes if you have a ssdt for pm which you don't really need at all... You can rename it as ssdt-1.

Yes, they need. It depends on what you intend to get. For example, you'll need a patch for HDMI audio - but you must already know your internal graphics card is not supported yet, so this patch is kind of useless for you until this changes. All the best! IGPU works fine with a modify kext.  I am working on a DMG using SSDT injection to patch the DSDT. Take a look here: http://rampagedev.wo...nd-amdati-gpus/

#2045539 DropOEM_DSM Not Working

Posted by Rampage Dev on 28 July 2014 - 09:43 AM

So if I understand this correctly if I enable this feature and say enable the audio patch only the audio dsm method will be dropped correct? If so can you make a way to drop all dsm methods? This would be helpful with the z97 boards from msi. Thanks slice.
