This patch has been tested in a SSDT for x79. This will be added to the x79 DMG this week. Simple fix to add.

Use the iMac13,2 system definition instead of MacPro6,1 Mac Pro 5,1 is more appropriate.

#2139064 Does anyone have the Asus Thunderboltex II card?

Posted by Rampage Dev on 27 May 2015 - 10:34 AM

I have both versions of the card. Please refer to Asus list of supported motherboards as they need the board header. Card works fine. I like both type of solutions.

#2135143 What does this mean?

Your issue is created due to the Broken install method used. Also with the method that you used much of the System fuctions are not enabled and broken as well.

#2129500 Haswell-E mach_kernel patch (5960X, 5830K and 5820K) Yosemite

I am going to say this once for people chasing PM and to stop the mass confusion. Please do not confuse EPU for PM. Its not PM. Your using EPU from the Mother Board and not enabling PM at the OS level. So the "results" that people are posting are not results at all.  Also the SSDT's on my x99 DMG have nothing at all to do with PM. Until Apple adds support this is a dead topic. Either buy a Asus MB so that you can use EPU or wait for Apple. Refresh after WWDC should happen.

Clover doc's. We used this on x79 for some time when we used Cham. But with Cham we had to convert the number to a supported value.

#2123092 Yosemite compatible 2011-v3 socket motherboards?

Here is a link to my x99 DMG: http://www.rampagedev.com/?page_id=55 That CPU is supported. Keep in mind that the x99 platform is under very early support and should be considered experimental.

Please use my install guide found here: http://www.rampagedev.com/?page_id=144 You will need to use the Clover Config and the SSDT for your board found on the Haswell DMG to boot with onboard most likely: http://www.rampagedev.com/?page_id=50 DMG will be used for post install as well.

#2111673 5960X, Rampage V Extreme OsxAptioFix Problem

The kernel in 10.10 cannot be patched prior to installation (at least not like this). Additionally, I have already patched the kernel for 10.10. If I had not, then I would receive the stop sign and reboot. I also have 10.9.5 working just fine. This is a Yosemite only issue. Thats not true at all.

Mac OS X has a hard code 32 Core/Thread Limit so pushing past that Limit issues appear. Not saying it will not work. Disable HT in the BIOS and go from there. Also use the install guide in my sig below. You will Need the kexts from the x99 DMG as well as the Clover Config. I would start with 10.9.5 first.
