#2418890 [GUIDE] EL Capitan / Sierra on Intel LGA 775 motherboards / DSDT

It's true! I'm have a lot of hackintosh, but I always remember and use the old ones. GA-945GCM-S2C, core2duo 4500 and gt220 :DRemember the old times :P G41M-P26 is a ICH7? Yea, really out there. lol. Ran 10.4.x on it way back with a P4 installed.   OMG! Was that Rampage Dev who just brought light into our dark corner of the internet? Funnily enough I thought about posting my problems on his site ... but then I thought .... "nahhhhh, he doesn't care about these old systems!" I love the old systems. Other people, not so much. On my Install DMG for Legacy I have my 10.11.5 Clover Config list on there so if you follow the Legacy Section in the Guide you can install 10.11.5 with it.

#2405141 GT 730 not selecting Nvidia Web drivers in Sierra

Maybe is a NVRam problem. Several people are having issues. Apple made changes to NVRAM in 10.12.4 which may be causing issues with the latest Drivers.

Here: http://www.rampagede..._id=1020&page=6 I have a direct link to the drivers. Please take note that the last time the drivers for your USB Wifi was released for Mac OS X 10.6. So they may only be 32-bit drivers and not work past Mac OS X 10.7.5. Also the USB Profiler showing the device has nothing to do with being recognized. That's the device firmware handing over pure letters to the OS.

#2278107 What motherboards are working with Sierra?

Posted by Rampage Dev on 14 September 2016 - 10:37 AM

Any motherboard can be turned into a hackintosh if you are willing to put the time and work into doing so. As for what is supported look at the sockets currently supported by Apple under Mac OS X 10.12 and use the corresponding SMBIOS and work from there. I have a C2Q system running Mac OS X 10.12 GM as well as a Dual CPU LGA 2011 system without any issues for example.

Historically takes Nvidia two DOT OS releases to add support to a new generation.

Best to do it the right way and not even touch the DSDT. Make your system BIOS version free: http://www.rampagedev.com/?page_id=50

#2147283 MacPro6,1 USB FIX El Capitan (Final App store realease) Updated 7 oct. 2015

x79 DMG has updated SSDT's for Asus and Gigabyte. I need a IOREG from the other manufactures to add the patch for them as well.  @stinga11 Email me if you have questions of how/what I did.
