Did you ever try or were you successful upgrading to 10.6.6? Every time I try when I reboot I get the circle with the line through it on the silver apple screen.

Great post BTW, I was able to get 10.6.3 on my T410 loaded on a Patriot 16gb drive with XTBoost in one try.

I need 10.6.6 to install XCode so I can develop on the road on my company laptop without having to carry two laptops.

I needed the USB stick to install to b/c our HD are encrypted.

Hi, guys, I've done 10.6.6 on my "Little Black" T410.

model:ThinkPad T410i 2516A21
system:Mac OS X 10.6.3 Snow Leopard

ThinkPad T410i 2516A21
Mac OS X 10.6.6 Snow Leopard

Chipset : Intel Ibex Peak-M QM57, Intel Ironlake-M
Memory: 2 GB ( DDR3 1067MHz )
Graphic : Nvidia NVS 3100M ( 512 MB )
Sound : Conexant Cx20585

Kexts:
AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext
ApplePS2Controller.kext touchpad original
fakesmc.kext ver. 405(change REV to mbp 5.1)
IntelE1000e.kext S/L/E
NullCPUPowerManagement.kext del after dsdt
Nvtit.kext del after dsdt
PlatformUUID.kext del after dsdt
VoodooHDA.kext del after dsdt
AppleACPIBatteryManager.kext E/E
Applehda.kext S/L/E

I've got almost the exact same rig with a core i5. I'm able to get 10.6.3 (which is what's on the DVD) installed and working beautifully, but when I go install the combo update for 10.6.6 I can't get it to boot and I get a perpetual spinny and a circle with a line through it on the silver apple screen.

Any tips tricks, guides would be helpful. Thanks,
