Some feedback and question

09 June 2015 - 08:48 AM

Clover works great on 10.11, as usual. Kext injection is working perfect, and smooth installation process.

However problem arises when I tried to install some necessary kexts.

Kext wizard still works, but only for third party kexts. Native kexts, i.e. AppleHDA.kext cannot be installed because it cannot be changed under Apple's new policy. One work through is go to Recovery mode and modify the kext there.

Other problem I met so far includes second stage glitch for Intel GPU patch seems invalid now. Broadcom94352 bluetooth firmware kext did not work either. Brightness control also went down.

Update1: native kext can be modified using boot arg: rootless=0

Broadwell HD5500 GT2 Panic under 10.10.3 beta6

31 March 2015 - 04:41 AM

CPU: i5 5200U
Graphic Card: HD5500 GT2 (0x80861616)
ig platform id: 0x16160000/2/4

Panic picture attached. Cause by BDW frame buffer kext.

If fb kext not loaded, I can boot into system with no problem. Any idea what else I can try before next update? Thanks.

Update1: Same panic under beta7

AirDrop not working for 14A388a/14A389

20 October 2014 - 06:28 AM

Was working before perfectly. But after some unknown updates, my PC and iPhone 5 cannot detect each other. In console it showed the following message, and repeated itself:

Attached File  Screen Shot 2014-10-19 at 11.08.41 PM.png   51.15KB   2 downloads

So actually "airdrop" seems detected my devices, however problem occurs during "handshake" process. Authentication just failed for some reason.

Wondering if any1 has similar problem or solution?
