AirDrop not working for 14A388a/14A389

20 October 2014 - 06:28 AM

Was working before perfectly. But after some unknown updates, my PC and iPhone 5 cannot detect each other. In console it showed the following message, and repeated itself:

So actually "airdrop" seems detected my devices, however problem occurs during "handshake" process. Authentication just failed for some reason.

Wondering if any1 has similar problem or solution?

Handoff Option Gone in DP7

04 September 2014 - 04:33 PM

Handoff option was present under System Preferences -> General in DP6 and before, but is gone in DP7.

Also console shows message:

14:11:58.737 : Device Capabilities (Handoff:NO, Instant Hotspot:NO, AirDrop:YES, Legacy AirDrop:YES, Remote Disc:YES)

My wifi card is BCM94352HMB. Anyone with same issue?

Lenovo IdeaPad U410 - No turbo states if disable Optimus in BIOS

27 November 2013 - 12:09 AM

As the title said, there will be no turbo states (other p states works normally) if I disable Optimus Nvidia 610m in BIOS.

This problem usually happens only after sleep, meaning the CPU works fine at startup, but goes wrong after wake up. In addition, CPU power jumps from 5W to 17W+, higher than the maximum power specified by Intel. I check the power via Intel Power Gadget and HWmonitor, same result.

I tried to disable Optimus by editing DSDT. But I cannot find any _off or similar method in my SSDTs and DSDT. Maybe Lenovo is too last to put these off methods?

Any suggestion? Thx in advance.

Attachments include DSDT and six SSDTs: Attached File  Archive.zip   26.14KB   3 downloads

SSDTs are extracted via DSDTSE in Mac.
