the name on the bottom left is your computer name, if you want it changed, go to sharing in system settings and change it there. HBP

#2069273 Ozmosis

Posted by HBP112358 on 14 October 2014 - 09:27 AM

I removed both the DSDT and SSDT, but still restart when plug in any USB stick or external HDD and the USB ports.  May be it. But when I did not use this flag, I had only two energy states. Now with the flag "-xcpm" I have four states. And I never had this problem with the USB connections CloverEFI.  I do not even know how to solve this problem.  I'll have to go back even with my origial BIOS.   Thanks for your effort and nice work with my BIOS, Pavo. Thanks. @ Jorge, I read your KP and crash logs. what is KPing your system is the kext for the sensors kext in the bios. keep them in the OZ dir of the EFI partition and not hardcoded, or better yet, installed directly in /S/L/E. 1479 is unstable on some boards, and adding sensors to the bios adds to that problem. an alternative is to go back a revision to 894m. which is very stable and has fewer problems (it also has fewer graphics injectors). food for thought. HBP

Thank you HBP112358 My question it's' about AAPL injecting, i have a cpu with intel graphics 4400,so, reading default.plist i saw a specific nvram key to inject rigth AAPL code, my mind ask: it's' possible put AAPL into ozmosisdefault?  maybe yes, i have to do some experiment, maybe in the week-end :D now i'm play with xendesktop  :wallbash:if the setting exists in the defaults.plist, it can be put in the OzmosisDefaults.ffs in fact, if you read closer, for 1479 they populate all of those settings with a default in the OzmosisDefaults.ffs  the biggest reason to have the defaults file is for configuration testing before you burn your configuration to your EFI-bios. just my opinion.  HBP

Hi folks, maybe a dumb question, can i put some data from default.plist into ozmosisdefault.plist ? if i know i compile a default.plist with some data that overwrite data presente in ozmosisdefault, the last win.Welcome and thank you for a great question.  if you follow the instructions in post #2106 of this thread you don't need a defaults.plist or writable nvram. I have tried it on 4 boards as well as having others try it, this method works with both 894M and the 1479 ozmosis and probably the earlier versions just I haven't tested with them. HBP

How can i add it to ozmosis defaults as a bootflag? just with nvram? Or can i edit the files?on page 3 of this thread is the nvram settings and what they do... if you can reach it by remote you can reach it to change nvram settings, also, you should be thinking/looking at modifying the nvram from single user command prompt mode, if your worried about doing it remotely. HBP

#2056346 Fusion Drive [how to]

Posted by HBP112358 on 29 August 2014 - 03:55 AM

I believe almost everyone who is out there playing with this has not been actually using a Fusion drive...after refollowing the steps from the before mentioned guide, I got to the part of making a LVG, but I named it 'FUSION' without the ' marks, then I went into disk utility (the Graphical interface) and did a repair disk on it, it asked it I wanted to restore a working Fusion Drive. I clicked yes.  and now I have a Fully working Fusion Drive. BEFORE:diskutil corestorage info FFC095BF-FB5E-4324-B598-DA80CA7AB4B0 Core Storage Properties: Role: Logical Volume Group (LVG) UUID: FFC095BF-FB5E-4324-B598-DA80CA7AB4B0 LVG Name: fusion LVG Version: 1 LVG Size: 1238926282752 B LVG Free Space: 0 B LVG Status: Online LVG Sparse: No Fusion Drive: NoAFTER:diskutil cs info 6F050F63-F87A-4690-AED4-7274C27DAC09 Core Storage Properties: Role: Logical Volume Group (LVG) UUID: 6F050F63-F87A-4690-AED4-7274C27DAC09 LVG Name: FUSION LVG Version: 1 LVG Size: 1249576288256 B LVG Free Space: 5734...

#2055109 Imessage and facetime Public Beta 2

Posted by HBP112358 on 25 August 2014 - 03:29 AM

if your looking for a resolution, there is a very FAST one. under general in system Preferences uncheck 'Allow Handoff between this Mac and your iCloud devices' then sign in (if you have not Fragged your account to the point of needing a level 2 unlock, AKA the 12 digit code) this will allow you to log back in. after logging back into iMessages and FaceTime you can go back and re-enable the Handoff ability.  if it kicks again, just repeat the steps. having duel booted from mavericks and Yosemite and talking with Level 2 rep about what was causing the lockout, he suspected that the new framework authentication tokens were jamming the (ANTISPAM) part of the server as it was happening with legit macs as well as hacks if interested, here is the logs for the new service as it is trying to authenticate you.8/24/14 8:11:00.053 PM lsuseractivityd[376]: PICKING: <__NSConcreteUUID 0x7fd3bbc130a0> F66AABD3-CC1F-428C-9E94-85BADF1AE16C com.apple.Messages/a32a9f48308fdcas th...

with a little German, you can have your pre-moded Bios done for you and only need to update the System Serial and Processor Serial @ least for GigaByte Boards. Ozmosis UEFI Firmware Databank from Hackintosh-Forum.de btw, the code on the first post about how to change Serials was invaluable. Thank you all HBP

#2051202 Clover issue with r2758 and onwards

Posted by HBP112358 on 13 August 2014 - 01:17 AM

your system and configs seem correctly configured, I found that after the aforementioned revision if the fakeSMC.kext was not in /S/L/E I got the same lock/Crash you are experiencing. I ditched the chameleon a long time around r800 days of clover and haven't looked back. for the most part, I try to keep my system as close to vanilla as possible incase I have to swap the drive with my real mac for something, but the one Kext that seems to have to be in /S/L/E without fail is fakeSMC...  HBP

#1892445 Clover General discussion

Posted by HBP112358 on 27 February 2013 - 03:26 AM

Hi, this is very nice step forwards indeed but I am having trouble with my desktop, ASRock P45XE+ATI6870. My setup has 6 different drives, all SATA and all GTP(GUID) partitioned with a total of 10 partitions plus the 200MB ones. The issue is that clover itself never boots to GUI. I see the cursor in the corner, turning into a "7" and then it goes to a smaller cursor ( _ ) in the corner. With what seems to be the gui dark grey background and the smaller cursor because the resolution of the screen has been detected. I tried to install in a USB stick, in my installation folder and in the GPT-EFI folder. I also tried the windows tool to create a USB stick and I always hit the same wall. I have now tried the USB stick in my computer at work (Asus P6X58D-E + ATI5770) with no issues, so I am now sure my computer is to blame. Chameleon works fine all the time, even with the cloverUSB stick if I press "2". Basically since OS X Tiger that I have been using this computer w...

Posted by HBP112358 on 19 March 2012 - 09:43 AM

this fix works with cards effected by the update that broke apple's HDCP Carrier in 10.6.3, to start off with, this fix should work with any version of OSX after 10.6.0, I have tested it with 10.7.3 and can confirm that the drivers work and system is stable. now to the fix. you need these Kexts from a retail snow leopard install disk 10.6: AppleGraphicsControl.kext DSACL.ppp DSAuth.ppp DVFamily.bundle GeForce.kext GeForce7xxxGLDriver.bundle GeForce8xxxGLDriver.bundle GeForceGA.plugin GeForceVADriver.bundle NVDANV40Hal.kext NVDANV50Hal.kext NVDAResman.kext Copy the files to your lion S/L/E overwriting the existing files with Kext Wizard, it may KP if your doing it from within Lion. repair permissions and restart computer. Enjoy full use of your HDMI abilities again. HBP
