Posted by PunkNugget on 13 May 2014 - 09:03 PM

Simply beautiful !!! Now THAT'S a CLEAN, PROFESSIONAL, TIGHT BUILD !!!  :hyper: Well thought out and you didn't spare any expense on the parts. Nice photos too. Now all we need to see is your current GeekBench score to see how this unit cranks. What temps are you getting since you're using a Push/Pull config? Also, those Noctuas must make things REEEEAL quiet…  By the way… YOU GOT MY VOTE !!!

SWEET ! Now THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKIN' ABOUT ! You took your time and took the progressive pics along the way of doing this build. Thanks for bringing us through the process. You sure that rad is big enough ?!?! WOW ! Nice Push/Pull config... Congrats, you definitely GOT MY VOTE ! It would be great to see your GeekBench & Cinebench score. If you can post it that would be great. Again, great build !  B) As I'm taking more time to observe this build I noticed that you used a smaller cylinder res as the other other one seemed to be tilted; maybe because it was in the way of other parts inside the case and a bit too long. With the rad you got goin' on that is res enough to hold plenty of fluid anyway. I have a strong feeling that you're going to win this month for sure...

#1930246 Apple finally announces all-new Mac Pro

Posted by PunkNugget on 04 July 2013 - 08:50 PM

I'm still SHOCKED that this machine gets ONLY 23,000+ for GeekBench scores. I was sure that this was going to run circles around my Hackinbeast... I was thinkin' that this new Trashcan Pro was going to least get 35,000 - 40,000+ for a GB score... I guess not. So for anyone that has an EVGA SR-2 Mobo system setup is going not only hold the record for being the best mobo for the last 3+ years, but it looks like it will hold it for another 2 to 3 years. Now THAT IS A GOOD INVESTMENT !!! Maybe I'm wrong here and the final release of the new Trashcan Pro will perform well beyond our imagination... but I doubt it... I hope I'm proven wrong...

#1912193 NEW MacMod 2013 build: Lemon Lime Twist !

Posted by PunkNugget on 02 May 2013 - 05:46 PM

 I know, that was too funny ! :hysterical: Well, if I could have fit more RAM, I probably would have. I still can't over the SPEED & PERFORMANCE of this 6 Core Beast, being just as fast as the most current DUAL CPU Apple Mac Pro out there for a 1/4 of the price... BTW, I'm going to load up another mini-beast here soon for MacMod of the Month of May. It's a bit of an unusual entry, but what IS "usual" on this site when it comes to Hackintoshes anyway?... nothing... B).

#1911846 The winner for the Month of April 2013 is...

Posted by PunkNugget on 01 May 2013 - 03:46 PM

The winner for MacMod of the Month for April 2013 is... Lemon Lime Twist (by me PunkNugget). Even though this seems a bit weird that I'm posting this winning for me, it was because of all of you that allowed that to happen, so again, THANK YOU FOR ALL THE VOTES !!! I had fun doing this build and have another one in the works, but it's nothing compared to Lemon Lime Twist. I don't know if I can outdo that one - LOL !!! Thanks again everyone, Later...
