MIDI not working

Hi, i just installed 10.8 on my hackintosh... until now i had a fully working 10.7... since i installed 10.8 everything related to MIDI doesn't work anymore... when i open the Audio-MIDI-Setup the MIDI-Window just produces "Loading" and freezes then (only Force-Quit possible)... also when i try to start Logic it freezes on the Loading Screen when the info says: Checking Midi Drivers




As this problem started with the installation of 10.8 i suppose the problem is in the installation but i have no clue where....



I don't think the MIDI-Drivers are causing that problem as the only installed driver is the SaffirePro14 Midi Driver from my interface (that is not known to cause problems)...




what further info do you need to help me? i'll be happy to provide it!

Building a 12core Hackintosh

Hi,

i've been searching the web for quite a while on that topic now but wasn't able to find anything (except that one totally kickass insane powerbuild, that was unaffordable...)
so here it goes:

I'm using a i7 Hackintosh Pro build myself... now a friend wants me to build one as well for him. BUT he wants to have an 12-core machine with at least 32GB DDR3 RAM, usb 3.0, etc etc....

So is there any way to build a Hackintosh with an 12core processor? it would be good if there was a solution with kakewalk or at least one with a really good step by step tutorial...

hope i can find the help i need here...
