Which one has better support in Lion with minimum issues as possible (dvd player, sleep, etc.)?
Sapphire cards are pretty common here so if an exact model is recommended, that would be great.

Lion on GA-P67A-UD3R-B3 or similar motherboards

I have walked through Maldon's tutorial and everything went fine except that when i reboot to boot off the HDD after installation, and after the apple logo screen, i get another light grey desktop with the mouse cursor on the upper left corner and that's it, i can move the mouse and keyboard works too so it's not hanged.

During boot in verbose mode, i noticed two lines indicating that login.playlist and another similar named file, can not be found, yet the boot continues till i get the light grey screen, so nothing critical happens while in verbose boot i think.

Did anyone else encountered such a problem or even managed to install Lion on a sandybridge motherboard without too much headache?


My desktop specs are in my sig.
