In Topic: I don't have sound. Help !

I have copy AppleHDA.kext from Tiger partition to Leopard partition and used this commands to do this

sudo -s
"your password"
chmod -R 755 /System/Library/Extensions/AppleHDA.kext
chown -R root:wheel /System/Library/Extensions/AppleHDA.kext

Not worked. I don't see AppleHDA in my System Preferences->Audio->Output

How Can I install this kext and run as default audio driver ? :(

[FiXED]

How to fix that?

Answer from Apple : Buy Sound Card y-610 (only if your USB works fine) - 10-15 $ . Connect, and restart. That's it :D

Work, and I have volume control on my Leopard. Now i have full functional Leopard for free :P

Thank's for attention, and have a nice day :D

I type:

cp /Users/adam/Desktop/mach_kernel ./Volumes/Mac\ OS\ X\ Install\ Disc\ x86/

and back "cp: directory ./Volumes/Mac OS X Install Disc x86 does not exist"

but Leo_Patched_DVD.iso is mount. I dont't know what next ...

( Steps 4 and 5 from this post)

In Topic: Mach_kernel invisible

Thanks ah_ah, it works. Now i have mach_kernel 4.8 mb, not 0 KB :)

Can i get that untoched kernel please?

Sorry, i can see this file, i can work with this file, but when i want upload on rapidshare, is still invisible.
But if you have original dmg leopard 10.5 named "osx-leopard105.dmg", mount this image, open terminal and type:

"cd /Volumes/whatever_volue_of_the_dmg" (like cd /Volumes/Mac\ OS\ X\ Install\ DVD/),

"ls" (then see your mach_kernel on cd file list),

and then "cp mach_kernel ~/desktop"

if you don't see original UNTOUCHED mach_ kernel type

"defaults write com.apple.Finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE" and "killall Finder"

then you'll see :D

Sorry for my english :P
